This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints. We appreciate your understanding of these occasional imperfections, and sincerely hope you enjoy seeing the book in a format as close as possible to that intended by the original publisher.

When I discovered this series by Martha Hinley, I decided to read all of them. Some I downloaded from Amazon; others from Open Library.com. I enjoyed the series and would recommend them to anyone who likes to read. I only found one problem when downloading from openlibrary.com-- there were pages missing from the first page of each chapter of two of them and the other were okay. I did notice that the relationship between daughters and father were quite unusual.Product details

Elsie at Viamede Martha Finley Books Reviews
"Elsie at Viamede" (book 18) is a lovely addition to the Elsie series. Through a big part of the book the story centers upon a relative's wedding... the plans, the dress, and the gifts. Lulu continues to learn about keeping her temper under control, and also a lesson about forgiving comes her way. The Dinsmore family is surprised by some dear friends, the Keiths... and much, much more happens. I thoroughly thought this book was delightful; can't wait for the following book.
It is very interesting.I recommend it to christians because Elsie is very christian. It also includes a little bit of history.
Love the whole series of these books one of my favorite series of books to read.. I loved reading when I was younger
Interesting read. I got a little bored with all the story-telling though I could have done without that . Otherwise, it was a good read
It was a pretty good book, it started pretty slow, but near the end it picked up speed. It was a slow read.
Cute.
I enjoyed following the adventures of Elsie. The history was good but a little overbearing for me in some places.
